Anywho? lets get starting! I learned how to do this from a cool youtube video.

Steps include a download that you have to visit on your iPhone. Which will install a mobile configuration file.  Basically what this means is that your’e using the internet connection from your iPhone ‘FREE’ as a modem for your computer (desktop or laptop).

Charges from your carrier will apply. I also beilieve that tethering is not available right now for a reason!! so until then, lets just assume that you are not supposed to use tethering for your iPhone.  Be warned that you may use this at your own risk.

So please check and see what your carrier plan is, so that you don’t get stuck with a butt load of user charges.

With your Phone go to this website, to download the Mobileconfig file http://help.benm.at/help.php
When you get to this page just click the Mobileconfigs downloads button:

After you download the Mobileconfig file, the site will ask you where you live by country. Simply choose the country of your choice!

I chose USA, but choose whichever country you live in.  Provided that it is an available choice from the list on the website.  Once you do that you will see this screen!

Choose the carriers that are available. Right now only two are available ( At&t and T-Mobile)

Once you have installed the file. Go to Settings>General>Network>
Notice: that you have a new network settings named Internet Tethering

For Mac Users you have to setup a new network view the video below.  First connect your iPhone 3G or 3Gs to your computer.  Also for Windows users I noticed that you can just enable the Internet Tethering by going to Settings>General>Networks>Internet Tethering ON .  When you do this, the system will ask you if you want to connect via USB or Bluetooth.  I normally choose USB because my iPhone is connected to my machine by USB cord.

 The iPhone has been pwned again… The Youtube community is yelling it loud and clear.  They are saying that their iPhones are being unlocked and even jailbroken.. Don’t believe me? Then watch for yourself!

Apple’s newest version of iPhone is said to be released some time in June this year.

Apples version 2.0 is rumored to be ready for At&t 3G network… OHH ahh.. What doe this mean? Well it means that you have to throw away your BS verizon contract and join all of your friends that have At&t.. Oh did I mention that if you have a older version of the iPhone, that you should find some sucker to pawn it off on So that you can have the newest version.

Just kidding but seriously here is a list of some of the new details about the new iphone:

• The first thing people will notice: the 2nd gen iPhone will be about the same size and shape as the first gen.
• It will, of course, have 3G. And proper GPS!
• The most noticeable physical difference is back of the phone is no longer metal — the whole thing is glossy black, from top to bottom. The volume buttons are now chrome.
• Because it’s got a little less metal to deal with, it doesn’t have quite as many angular edges. The battery is (still) not removable.
• The phone itself will be slightly thicker than the first gen device.
• The headphone jack will no longer be recessed, and will finally be flush with the body.
• The device itself uses roughly the same size and resolution screen as the first generation product.
• No solid word on battery life or storage capacity

These are the most Optimized sites for the iPhone

1. Facebook – http://iphone.facebook.com/ : this is definitely the best iPhone optimized website that I have seen. I fell in love with it right off the bat. I have been using it for a while. My favorite feature is the text reply to messages. This feature allows you to see who just commented or emailed you and allows you a quick and easy way to reply back to that person. I also like the picture viewer app and it is really easy to browse profiles. Try it out! If you did not know about this iPhone opitimized site then your stoked and Facebook just got better
2. Digg- http://www.digg.com/iphone : Digg is a social network site that lets you share information about links to stories, articles, videos, blogs you name it. It is fast and easy! Check it out!
3. Amazon.com – http://www.amazon.com : Brandone Eley writes about his accidental discovery of this iPhone optimized site. read more at theappleblog.com.
4. eBay - http://iphone.ebay.com : of course if Amazon has one you should expect ebay to be optimized too.
5. Google – http://google.com/Google is optimized nicely. Click on google.com and hit the mobile link. I love this one because I can get all of my rss feeds from my Google reader page.
6. Tada List – http://tadalist.com : Never heard of this site till yesterday! I guess this is good for making to do list on your iPhone.
7. Leafllets – http://www.getleaflets.com/ : Once again never heard of it. But awesome and clean interface. Leaflets lets you check feeds from Newsvine, del.icio.us, yahoo upcoming events, flickr, NY Times and much more. It also points you to a list of apps for the iphone that you may not have installed yet. Loads Quickly and easy to use.
8. Yahoo Search – Looks different (a little bit) but smells the same. i.e. Google.com
9. WordPress Blogs – http://iwphone.contentrobot.com/ Which this is, if you have not noticed. Have your iPhone optimized blog in a jiffy. This is a free blog but if you have one hosted with WordPress that is not free but on its own domain you can download the plugin from WordPress.com and simply turn it on in your admin panel. 10. Pocket Tweets – http://www.pockettweets.com/ : Great little twitter app for those of you who love a Twitter style site.

Ziphone 3.0 Release

Well the Ziphone tool that pwns the iPhone with ease has released their latest version of iPhone cracking software. The Ziphone App is also know for its ease of use. So for those of you that wished that you could pwn your iPhone with just the click of a button, here you go!

Hello there fellow Apple enthusiasts.

I would like to say that this blog has been a little biased to a brilliant little invention that you may know about called the iPhone. I promise to do more talking about the other wonderful products that Apple has to offer in some later post. BUT.. for now lets focus on what is important… and that is the iPhone and the various ways that you can make it truly your own iPhone. I mean after all that is probably the main reason why you are here in the first place.

I found a nice little resource that has all of the iPhone tools in one place for your download pleasure. It is called Jailbreak 101. A nifty site called Appletizeme.com has just recently created a new forum for its large community of readers. Also as a special thank you to its forum members Appletizeme.com has given some of its members a great package of Jailbreak software that you cannot find in one place anywhere on the net.
